Latin American Meeting of Real Estate Developers in Panama City

On June 1st and 2nd, the Latin American Meeting of Real Estate Developers was held at the SORTIS Hotel in Panama City, where the main theme was: "Developing in a World V.U.C.A - Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous. Our Principal for Central and South America region Sergio Riestra was present sharing the theme of mixed uses and their evolution over time. Here is some of what was shared in the event during the weekend.
Starting with how we humans have developed and lived in mixed-use environments, due to the transportation of everything that was necessary to maintain the social development of the cities, to why the Industrial Revolution was a watershed for this type of Developments since it allowed to separate the spaces destined for the work of those residential.
We also talked about new technologies and needs of an emerging market of new consumers, which forces us to rethink our vision in this type of projects, contemplating the integration of different elements, to satisfy a wide variety of new needs.
